800F-X10 — 30 mm Modular Contact Block, 1 NO
A contact block is easy to overlook — it's not the most exciting part of a control panel — but a bad one causes more nuisance faults than most people expect. The 800F-X10 is a single normally-open (NO) contact block for the 800F series 30 mm operator range. It snaps onto any 800F pushbutton, selector switch, or key switch body without tools and wires up in minutes.
Silver alloy contacts handle both AC and DC control circuits up to 240V AC / 125V DC, and the ratings meet IEC 60947-5-1 and UL 508 requirements. The snap-fit construction means a worn block can be swapped in the field without pulling the operator out of the panel — just unclip the old one, press in the new one, and move the two wires across.

What It Works With
The 800F-X10 attaches to any 800F series 30 mm operator body — flush, extended, and mushroom-head pushbuttons, maintained and momentary types, illuminated operators, 2- and 3-position selector switches, and key switches. It is not compatible with 22 mm operators or older 800E/800H series bodies.
Up to three contact blocks can stack on a single operator (combination of front-mount and side-mount positions depending on the operator model). The block is also used as an auxiliary contact on 800F E-stop operators where feedback monitoring of the stop button state is needed alongside the main safety contacts.
Selecting the Right Contact Block
The 800F range covers several contact configurations. Here's how the X10 fits relative to others in the series:
- 800F-X10 — 1 NO. The most common choice for start circuits and sensor feedback.
- 800F-X01 — 1 NC. Used for stop circuits and normally-closed interlock feedback.
- 800F-X11 — 1 NO + 1 NC combined in one block. Useful when a single pushbutton needs to both close one circuit and open another simultaneously.
- 800F-X20 — 2 NO. For applications needing dual independent NO circuits from one operator.
FAQ
Q: Can I use this on a 24V DC PLC input?
Yes, no issues at 24V DC. If the PLC input current is below 10 mA, use the gold-contact version (800F-X10G) to avoid reliability problems at low signal levels.
Q: How many blocks can I stack on one operator?
Up to three total, split between front-mount and side-mount positions. The exact combination depends on the specific operator model — check the operator's accessory listing before ordering.
Q: Do I need to remove the operator from the panel to replace a contact block?
No. The block unclips from the rear of the operator body while it stays mounted in the panel. Move the two wires to the new block and snap it on. The whole job takes a couple of minutes.
Q: What panel cutout size does the 800F series require?
30.5 mm diameter. Panel thickness should be between 1 mm and 6 mm for the operator's retention nut to grip properly.
